Emmanuelle de Beer : strength and determinism

Emmanuelle is a force of nature. She is proof that in life, when you want it, you can do it!
At only 25 years old, this talented high-level sportswoman has already travelled the world. Zoom on a young career out of the ordinary.

Of Mauritian nationality, with a Dutch father, Emmanuelle grew up in Mauritius and began to
interested in tennis at the age of 6. It is in the person of Karen Chavoix that she finds the inspiration and begins to take a liking to this sport. She then started playing tournaments in her native island. At the age of 8, her tournaments took her to Reunion Island and South Africa. Mary Pierce trained her and her brother, then, 4 years later, she went to Florida to the Nick Bollettieri Academy. But she did not stop there. Our great sportswoman goes to Europe, and will be, in France, classified 400 world junior
international, at the age of only 14.

A turning point in Emmanuelle's career follows, with a fractured sternum, caused by a trampoline injury. Her career was put on hold for a year. But it takes more than that for Emmanuelle to give up. Following her convalescence, she resumed her career and moved to the United States, more precisely to the Academy of Chris Evert, a tennis legend. Then, a
A new injury, this time to the left side of the abdomen. Once again, Emmanuelle recovers and goes back to fight in Paris. Ranked -15 in the French ranking, she plays the team matches at the Stade
French for a year. Then, it is the discovery of Slovenia, where Emmanuelle will train in
another Academy.

A new complicated phase is coming for this great sportswoman: breakdown, physical fatigue
and emotional. It is the pause of her career, a return to her roots, to Mauritius, to finally, like all the young girls of her age, finish her studies in peace.

Emmanuelle's priority was to become the best, a tennis champion, which required since the
departure of enormous sacrifices at all levels, especially financial and family.

The support of Emmanuelle's family has always been incredible and crucial in her choices, in her
course, her motivation. Her driving force since the beginning has been the support of her family, but also of her sponsors, who have always supported her. Unbelievable but true: she is back on the tennis courts in January 2019 with her brother, coached once again by Mary Pierce. The travels begin again, with the entry into a new academy,
the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, in the South of France. But there again, health problems
resurface, with those back problems that had been bothering her for a while. Despite
After a lot of re-education, her body could no longer cope. But Emmanuelle always gets up. Ranked in the 900th place in the world, Emmanuelle will definitively close the doors of her career in March
2020, during the Covid period.

From there, a new life begins, new possibilities, a new path. Emmanuelle started coaching children, following her mother's advice. Having a very good
contact with the youngest, it is a rebirth. Today, it has been more than 2 years since Emmanuelle
teaches in Petite Rivière Noire, in his family's property, which he has finally found. The classes are for children from 6/7 years old, teenagers, as well as adults, individually or in groups.

Emmanuelle is the portrait of an incredible young woman, a strong young woman, with no regrets, who shows that despite the events of life, it is always possible to get up and continue, with
tenacity and hard work. To do everything to make her dreams come true, no matter what they are at the beginning, and no matter what they finally become. She has taken a lot of positives from all these years of traveling, meeting people, discovering different cultures. Life experiences are incredible, Emmanuelle has lived it, and she is grateful for this gift she received, which gave her this path, this chance to travel the world so young.

The person Emmanuelle thinks about the most is Karen Chavoix, who gave her this desire when she was very young.
young age, this passion. It was Karen who taught her how to play tennis at the beginning, who helped her find the right coaches and, above all, who passed on her techniques. It is thanks to these techniques that Emmanuelle
played productively and made a name for himself on the world stage with his gestures and movements
filled with grace.

Today, at only 25 years old, Emmanuelle is a unique tennis coach who works on transmission, human relations, in the same line as Karen. She likes to work in the nature
and exchange on a human level, to see the blooming and the evolution of the people who ask to
be coached by her and works solely on word of mouth, on a human level.

In parallel to her new life, Emmanuelle is also a model for the Electra agency in Mauritius. Another adventure, new encounters, a bit of pep and new challenges to face:
this is what motivates her. Because Emmanuelle is a true example, a young woman who is free, strong, sure of herself, and who lives her life 100%.
